Friday, August 21: "New Beginnings"
Kick off your university experience by settling into your new home and exploring the campus community. Connect with campus resources during the day and meet your peers at evening social events.
- 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM: First-Year & Second Year Student Move-In
- 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM: Move-In Fair
- Evening Activities: Ice Cream Social & Floor Meetings
Saturday, August 22: "Discover & Connect"
Dive deeper into university life with an official welcome ceremony and a self-guided campus discovery showcase. New students and families will disperse to attend informative breakout sessions before reconnecting for a community BBQ and an outdoor movie night.
- 9:00 AM: Check-In Begins
- 10:00 AM – 10:30 AM: Welcome
- 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM: Campus Discovery
- 12:30 PM – 2:00 PM: New Beginnings BBQ
- 7:30 PM: Movie Night - Hosted by the Student Government Association
Sunday, August 23: "Welcome Home, DU"
Celebrate the start of the academic year with the ultimate campus festival: our annual DU Fest. Enjoy food, music, and activities on the Quad as the entire university community comes together. This event is intended for students only, both new and returning.
- 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM: DU Fest
